“Never make your home in a place. Make a home for yourself inside your own head. You'll find what you need to furnish it - memory, friends you can trust, love of learning, and other such things. That way it will go with you wherever you journey.”
Tad Williams

In my life I have received mail at 19 different addresses.  There is no family home or a place I can point to as “that is where I grew up”.  In my photographs, I find answers to my questions about that.  In some images, it is a place or a fleeting moment where I find that feeling reflected back at me.  In others, it is revealed through the people and objects I am surrounded by.  Through my photography, I use a diaristic approach to how memory and family history are stored.  I also, reveal answers to how my own home is found or created.  That environment is constantly changing and as some parts of it slip away I find comfort in what remains as well as the change.
